Basketball Recap: Colton Zrinski Key Part of Team Effort in Swordsmen Win

Red Lion Christian's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They managed a 45-40 win over the Heritage Christian Academy Patriots. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Swordsmen's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 549th, while the Patriots are ranked 241st).

Red Lion Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Colton Zrinski, who shot 47% from the field to rack up 17 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Bennet De Los Santos`, who went 5-for-12 on his way to 11 points and three steals.

Red Lion Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. They are 10-2 when they've passed the ball that well.

Red Lion Christian's win bumped their record up to 12-6-1. As for Heritage Christian Academy, they moved to 4-2 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Red Lion Christian nor Heritage Christian Academy have any future games scheduled.
