Preview: Joplin vs. Fort Zumwalt West

Joplin will take on Fort Zumwalt West in each of the teams' fourth playoff contest on Saturday. Averaging 57.33 points per game, the Joplin squad has been an offensive juggernaut in the playoffs, so hopefully Fort Zumwalt West's defense is prepared for a test.

Joplin earned some more postseason success in their matchup last Friday. They blew past Marquette 35-7. Isaiah Davis and Blake Tash were among the main playmakers for the Eagles as the former rushed for 79 yards and two TDs on 15 carries and the latter passed for 247 yards and two TDs. That makes it 12 straight good games from Davis.

Meanwhile, Fort Zumwalt West kept a clean sheet against Troy-Buchanan. Everything went the Jaguars' way against Troy-Buchanan as they made off with a 27 to nothing victory. The team ran away with 20 points in the first half and mostly just sat on those in the second to pick up the win.

With both teams having displayed their playoff mettle, spectators can expect a high-quality game. Keep track of this and all the high school football postseason action on
