Football Recap: Wheeler Skates Past Sanford-Fritch with Ease

Wheeler never let their opponents score on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Sanford-Fritch Eagles 40-0. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by 27 points or more this season.

Wheeler's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Sanford-Fritch, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

Wheeler and Sanford-Fritch will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Mustangs see the field they'll take on Quanah at 7:00 p.m. on October 10. As for Sanford-Fritch, their break will end when they face Panhandle at 7:00 p.m. on October 10.
