Soccer Game Preview: Foothill vs. Pleasant Valley

The Foothill Cougars are taking a road trip to take on the Pleasant Valley Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Foothill's defense has only allowed 0.1 goals per game this season, so Pleasant Valley's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Foothill's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They put the hurt on Red Bluff with a sharp 4-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now won eight in a row.

Foothill hit Red Bluff with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Rylee Boban (2), Lilly Ostendorf, and Sarah Mcdougall.

Meanwhile, Pleasant Valley hasn't lost a match since January 22nd, a trend which continued in their latest game on Friday. They and Chico finished up their matchup with a 0-0 draw.

Foothill's victory bumped their record up to 15-1-3. Pleasant Valley's draw gives them a new season record of 10-6-4.
