Basketball Recap: Evergreen Comes Up Short

Evergreen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 82-41 loss at the hands of the Inglemoor Vikings. The Wolverines were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-22.

Reuhen Bhalod was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 26 points and 20 boards for Inglemoor. Bhalod has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more rebounds the last 38 times he's played. Aman Sterling was another key player, going 5 of 11 on his way to 11 points along with five assists and three steals.

Evergreen's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Inglemoor, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Evergreen has already played their next contest (against Foster), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Inglemoor will be playing at home against Highline at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Inglemoor's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three games.
