Fike waltzed into their game on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They put the hurt on the Southern Wayne Saints with a sharp 9-0 win. Kailynn Williams was a massive factor in the win as she booted in four goals all by herself.

Fike pushed their record up to 13-4-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those three matchups. As for Southern Wayne, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 12 of their last 13 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 0-12-6 record this season.

Fike and Southern Wayne will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Demons see the pitch they'll take on East Wake at 6:30 p.m. on the 29th. As for Southern Wayne, their break will end when they face West Johnston at 6:30 p.m. on the 29th.
