Volleyball Recap: Greeley Central Comes Up Short

Greeley Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Thompson Valley Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-14, 25-10.

Greeley Central's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Thompson Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Greeley Central is set to take on their familiar foe Timnath at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Thompson Valley will face off against rival Severance at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
