Volleyball Recap: Greeley Central Takes a Loss

Greeley Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Thompson Valley Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-14, 25-10.

Thompson Valley found their leader in sophomore Payton Reichelderfer, who had 12 digs.

Greeley Central's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Thompson Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Greeley Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Timnath on the 16th. As for Thompson Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Severance on the 16th.
