Trinity has gone 3-0 against St. Francis recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Trinity Blazers will host the St. Francis Spartans at 5:30 p.m. Trinity will be strutting in after a win while St. Francis will be coming in after a defeat.

Last Wednesday, Trinity took their match with ease, bagging a 51-19 victory over Oak Park-River Forest. Given the Blazers' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 67th, while the Huskies are ranked 428th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, St. Francis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 54-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of Glenbard West.

Trinity is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.2 points per game. As for St. Francis, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-18.

Trinity strolled past St. Francis in their previous meeting back in January of 2023 by a score of 57-39. Does Trinity have another victory up their sleeve, or will St. Francis turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
