Basketball Game Preview: Clements Colts vs. East Limestone Indians

Clements is 1-9 against East Limestone since December of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Clements Colts are taking a road trip to square off against the East Limestone Indians at 6:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Clements is headed into Monday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their seventh straight game on Tuesday. They were beaten by Tanner 83-55. The Colts were down 74-46 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Meanwhile, after a string of nine wins, East Limestone's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They took a 57-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of Austin. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 44th, while the Black Bears are ranked fourth).

East Limestone's loss dropped their record down to 18-5. As for Clements, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-21.

Clements was dealt a bruising 97-43 loss at the hands of East Limestone when the teams last played back in December of 2024. Can Clements avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
