Football Game Preview: Crawford County Eagles vs. Marion County Eagles + How To Watch

Crawford County will square off against Marion County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Crawford County will be strutting in after a victory while Marion County will be coming in after a loss.

Crawford County got their first taste of in-conference action on Friday and they started things off strong. They claimed a resounding 44-6 win over Central. The game marked the Eagles' most dominant victory of the season.

Crawford County found their leader in sophomore Lawson Cooley, who threw for 173 yards and four touchdowns. Those four passing touchdowns set a new season-high mark for Cooley.

Crawford County didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Camron Harvey and Braylon Hudson.

Meanwhile, Marion County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a hard 34-19 fall against Chattahoochee County.

Marion County's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Crawford County, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Crawford County was dealt a bruising 56-14 defeat at the hands of Marion County when the teams last played back in October of 2024. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Crawford County was down 35-14.
