The third road game was the charm for Martha's Vineyard Regional, as they earned their first away victory of the season. They came out on top against the Monomoy Sharks by a score of 4-1 on Wednesday. That looming 4-1 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Vineyarders yet this season.

Eli Bryant spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits.

At the plate, Martha's Vineyard Regional's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Leo Napier, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run. Those RBI were Napier's first of the season. Grady McCracken was another, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Martha's Vineyard Regional picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 3-4. As for Monomoy, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Martha's Vineyard Regional will face off against Falmouth at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Monomoy, they will square off against Cape Cod RVT at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
