Basketball Recap: Peru Comes Up Short

Peru and Albany Academy for Girls squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Peru had to settle for second. They were dealt a 70-39 loss at the hands of the Albany Academy for Girls Bears. The Nighthawks have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

Peru's loss dropped their record down to 17-5. As for Albany Academy for Girls, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 20-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Albany Academy for Girls beat Peru by a score of 70-39 on Wednesday.
