Softball Recap: Scott Central Comes Up Short on the Road Against Morton

Scott Central had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 14-5 to the Morton Panthers on Tuesday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it 11 in a row.

The win got Morton back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Scott Central will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Forest at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Morton, they will head out to square off against Puckett at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Puckett will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Morton surely won't give up without a fight.
