Basketball Recap: Loudon Takes a Loss

Loudon suffered their biggest defeat since December 9, 2024 on Tuesday. They were dealt a 79-42 loss at the hands of the Heritage Mountaineers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Redskins this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 82-37 back in December of 2024.

Loudon's defeat dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Heritage, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 16-8.

The future could be bright for both Loudon and Heritage: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Loudon will try to hand Rhea County their third-straight loss when the two meet at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Heritage will look to extend South-Doyle's three-game losing streak when the meet at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
