Volleyball Recap: Mentor's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Mentor can now relate to. They came up short against the Medina Battling Bees on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The Cardinals were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Battling Bees earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

While Mentor ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-23, 25-23.

Mentor's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-9. As for Medina, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-11.

Mentor does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Medina, they will face off against Jackson at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Polar Bears will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Battling Bees surely won't give up without a fight.
