Basketball Recap: Hardin-Central's Run of Five Straight Victories Now Over

If Hardin-Central was riding high fresh off their 68-33 takedown of Southwest last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Hardin-Central Bulldogs took a hard 64-48 fall against the Carrollton Trojans on Thursday. The Bulldogs' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Hardin-Central's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Carrollton, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hardin-Central will venture away from home to take on Keytesville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hardin-Central is facing Keytesville at the right time seeing as Keytesville is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Carrollton, they are taking a road trip to square off against St. Paul Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
