With a playoff win on the line, Glenelg Country rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They came out on top against the McDonogh Eagles by a score of 67-58. The Dragons haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

McDonogh's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Carlos Ferguson, who posted 11 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. What's more, Ferguson also posted a 75% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Robert Moore, who went 5-for-12 en route to 15 points.

Glenelg Country's victory bumped their record up to 13-6. As for McDonogh, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-13.

Glenelg Country didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 78-72 defeat against St. Frances Academy on the 20th. McDonogh does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
