Kaden Chester Turns in Season-Best Performance

Kaden Chester produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Worth County to the win on Friday. Chester rushed for 146 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.3 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Worth County, bringing their record for this year to 6-3. Chester and Worth County will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Brantley County at 7:30 p.m. on November 8th.

Tre?Shaun Jones' Rushing Yards a New Career-High

Tre?Shaun Jones produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Worth County to the win on Friday. Jones rushed for 186 yards and a touchdown while picking up 10.3 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.

For the season, Jones has run in 9 touchdowns while averaging 65.4 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 9.22 rushing yards per game.

Mason Kicklighter posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign : he rushed for 105 yards. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 64 yards.

Brantley County is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7. Kicklighter will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant effort when he faces off against Bacon County on Friday.

Worth County Gets a Boost from Worthy in 62-17 Win

Another Worth County player making an appearance on this list is Lyndon Worthy. He threw for 210 yards and three touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes.

Jeff Davis's probably not too fond of Worthy given he always seems to get the better of them. Worthy threw for 272 yards and four touchdowns while completing 95.5% of his passes the last time he and the Yellowjackets duked it out back in October of 2023.

Colby Beach Rounds Out Top Five

Rounding off our Top Five is Colby Beach of Jeff Davis. Beach rushed for 72 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries, and also threw for 90 yards and a touchdown.

This year, Beach has thrown 8 touchdowns while averaging 78.4 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had three rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to seven.
