Basketball Game Preview: NCSSM: Morganton Dragons vs. Draughn Wildcats

NCSSM: Morganton is 0-4 against Draughn since February of 2023 but things could change on Friday. Having just played yesterday, the NCSSM: Morganton Dragons will head out on the road to face off against the Draughn Wildcats at 6:45 p.m.

NCSSM: Morganton is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Thursday. They took a blow against Mitchell, falling 58-29. Having soared to a lofty 55 points in the game before, the Dragons couldn't push the score so high this time.

Meanwhile, Draughn had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They breezed by Rosman to the tune of 73-35 on Tuesday. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 37-10.

Draughn's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-14. As for NCSSM: Morganton, their loss dropped their record down to 4-13.

NCSSM: Morganton took a serious blow against Draughn in their previous meeting back in January, falling 70-41. Can NCSSM: Morganton avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
