Football Recap: Weatherford Christian Takes a Loss

Weatherford Christian managed to slip by Heritage Christian the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Lions were outmatched by the Eagles and fell 56-6.

Weatherford Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Heritage Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Weatherford Christian will welcome Dallas Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lions will be up against the Bulldogs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 50.25 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Heritage Christian, they are taking a road trip to take on Wylie Prep Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Patriots have now posted at least 31 points in their last three games.
