Volleyball Game Preview: Twin Loup Wolves vs. Riverside Chargers

The Twin Loup Wolves will challenge the Riverside Chargers on Thursday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Twin Loup has struggled recently with four defeats in a row, while Riverside will arrive with four straight wins.

Twin Loup came up short against Elm Creek on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

While Twin Loup was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Elm Creek's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-18, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Riverside earned a 2-0 victory over Newman Grove/St. Edward on Monday.

Riverside easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-7.

Twin Loup's loss dropped their record down to 3-19. As for Riverside, their win bumped their record up to 17-3.

Twin Loup couldn't quite get it done against Riverside in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Wolves avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
