Baseball Recap: Delta Charter Finds Home Field Redemption Against Ferriday

There's no place like home for Delta Charter, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They put the hurt on the Ferriday Trojans with a sharp 18-3 win on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 20-0 two weeks ago.

Will Wiley was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing Three bases. while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Layne King, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Delta Charter will take on Monterey at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Ferriday, they will face off against Richwood at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
