Soccer Recap: Dinwiddie Takes a Loss

Dinwiddie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Colonial Heights Colonials. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Colonial Heights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in April.

Dinwiddie's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Colonial Heights, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-6-1.

Looking ahead, Dinwiddie will challenge Meadowbrook at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Colonial Heights, they will welcome Varina at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Colonial Heights are facing Varina at the right time seeing as Varina are stuck on a 14-game losing streak.
