Sale Creek put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 42-6 victory over the Red Boiling Springs Bulldogs. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-0.

Sale Creek got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Hunter Fowler out in front who rushed for 84 yards and one score on only six carries, and also picked up 39 receiving yards and one TD. The Panthers also got a significant boost from Jayson Booker, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 87 yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Sale Creek was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 214 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 151 rushing yards in 11 consecutive matchups dating back to last season.

Sale Creek's record now sits at 5-0. As for Red Boiling Springs, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sale Creek will venture away from home to challenge Howard Tech at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Red Boiling Springs, they will head out to square off against Jo Byrns on Friday. This will be the Bulldogs' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
