Angeline Academy of Innovation was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 20th straight loss. They had to suffer through a 51-18 loss at the hands of the Cambridge Christian Lancers. One positive for the Archers, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Despite the defeat, Angeline Academy of Innovation saw an underclassman step up: freshman Kaylie Charles almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine boards. Those nine points gave Charles a new career-high.

Angeline Academy of Innovation's loss dropped their record down to 0-20. As for Cambridge Christian, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-7.

Both are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Angeline Academy of Innovation will challenge The Villages Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Villages Charter is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.5 points per game this season. As for Cambridge Christian, they will face off against Universal Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
