Football Recap: Crismon Rattlers vs. River Valley Dust Devils
Crismon took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They put the hurt on the River Valley Dust Devils with a sharp 34-13 win.
Crismon's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Asher Vance, who picked up 179 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Those 179 receiving yards gave Vance a new career-high. Braxton Thill was another key passer, throwing for 292 yards and three TDs while picking up 13.3 yards per attempt.
Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Crismon proved: they limited River Valley to a paltry 3.2 yards per carry. The Rattlers didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 6.3.
