Softball Recap: Technology Takes a Loss

Technology lost against Laytonville back in April of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Titans came up short against the Warriors, falling 25-3.

Technology saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Abigail Lower, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI. Another was Maliea Deniz, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one RBI.

Technology's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Laytonville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Technology will challenge Willits at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Laytonville, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Calistoga at 4:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
