Recap: Sumner vs. Freedom
Sumner and Freedom combined for 14 shots on goal on Thursday, which explains the impressive five total goals scored. Sumner won by a goal and slipped past Freedom 3-2. The win was familiar territory for Sumner who now have three in a row.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Ricardo Rose and
Alex Rodriguez, who scored.
Sumner has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4-1 record this season. As for Freedom, they bumped their record down to 6-7 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
Sumner does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Freedom also has no future games currently scheduled.
