Baseball Recap: Elsinore Has No Trouble Against West Valley

Elsinore got themselves on the board against West Valley on Friday, but West Valley never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Mustangs. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won four in a row.

Jacob Farias made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out seven over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

In other batting news, Andrew Jimenez was a standout: he went 1-for-2 with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Brody Boyd was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
