Volleyball Recap: Artesia Takes a Loss

Artesia's tournament run continued when they took on Roosevelt on Saturday. The Pioneers fell just short of the Rough Riders by a score of 2-1. The Pioneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Artesia's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Roosevelt, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

Artesia will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Firebaugh at 5:00 p.m. on September 4. As for Roosevelt, they will square off against Diego Rivera at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
