Baseball Recap: Buffalo Find Success

Buffalo's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against the Robbinsdale Armstrong Falcons by a score of 5-1. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 30, 2021, but that streak is no more.

Buffalo got a great performance from COLE LINDBERG as he didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. LINDBERG has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up a single earned run in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, CALEB JOHNSON and ISAAC HILL did most of the damage at the plate: JOHNSON went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double, while HILL went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Those two runs gave JOHNSON a new career-high.

Buffalo now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Robbinsdale Armstrong, they dropped their record down to 5-7 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coming up, Buffalo is taking a road trip to square off against Hopkins at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Robbinsdale Armstrong, they will take on Osseo at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
