Softball Recap: Clearview Comes Up Short

Clearview lost against Columbia two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Clippers came up short against the Raiders, falling 16-1. The Clippers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Clearview saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alivia Ocasio, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base. Ocasio has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times she's played.

Clearview's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Columbia, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-4.

Looking ahead, Clearview will welcome Medina Christian Academy at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Columbia, they will square off against Norwayne at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Raiders 4, the Bobcats 3.5) so any runs scored will be well earned.
