Baseball Recap: Brunswick Comes Up Short

Brunswick was the 2-1 winner over Mt. Ararat when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Dragons fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday.

Brunswick saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lism Scholl, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI. Allan Swain also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Brunswick's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Mt. Ararat, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

Coincidentally, Brunswick and Mt. Ararat will both be playing Messalonskee the next time they take the field. The Eagles will host the Eagles at 4:15 p.m. on Friday, while the Dragons will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
