Volleyball Recap: Springville Takes a Loss

Springville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 19th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Spanish Fork Dons, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Dons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Springville took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-8, 25-22.

Springville's record is now 0-18. As for Spanish Fork, their win bumped their record up to 17-7.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Springville will square off against rival Wasatch at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Spanish Fork is set to take on their familiar foe Salem Hills at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
