Soccer Game Preview: Buckhorn vs. Knott County Central

The Buckhorn Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the Knott County Central Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Buckhorn is leaving town to face Knott County Central after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. The Wildcats lost 10-0 to Hazard on Saturday. Buckhorn have struggled against Hazard recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Knott County Central fell victim to Prestonsburg and their airtight defense on Monday. They came up short against the Blackcats, falling 14-0.

Buckhorn might still be hurting after the 6-1 defeat they got from Knott County Central when the teams last played back in September of 2023. Can the Wildcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
