Basketball Game Preview: Omaha North Vikings vs. Lincoln High Links

The Omaha North Vikings will take on the Lincoln High Links at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Omaha North's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matches.

Omaha North played in conference for the first time on Tuesday and they got just the result they we're looking for. They came out on top against Burke by a score of 63-54. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

It was another big night for Jerri'On Williams, who went 9-for-17 en route to 27 points. His evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ban Yor, who posted 11 points and seven boards.

Meanwhile, Lincoln High was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were beaten by Omaha Central 81-54.

Lincoln High's loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Omaha North, their victory bumped their record up to 9-13.

Omaha North was able to grind out a solid win over Lincoln High when the teams last played back in February of 2024, winning 60-51. Will Omaha North repeat their success, or does Lincoln High have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
