Volleyball Recap: Reeds Spring Wolves vs. Logan-Rogersville Wildcats

Reeds Spring was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Logan-Rogersville Wildcats. The Wolves were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Reeds Spring took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-10, 25-14.

Zoeie Hedrick paced Reeds Spring's offense, picking up five kills. Hedrick got some help from Avery Cadle and her eight assists.

Logan-Rogersville can attribute much of their success to Kamryn Marshall, who had seven digs and six aces. Marshall is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last ten games she's played dating back to last season. Lindsey Woosley also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Reeds Spring's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Logan-Rogersville, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Reeds Spring wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Branson on the 16th. As for Logan-Rogersville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Mt. Vernon on the 16th.
