Soccer Recap: Sierra Linda Finds Home Pitch Redemption Against Central

There's no place like home for Sierra Linda, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They blew past the Central Bobcats 3-0 on Monday. The Bulldogs better thank their lucky stars for the performance of Desiree Pinedo, as she scored every single goal for her team.

Sierra Linda moved to 5-6-2 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Central, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sierra Linda will venture away from home to take on Copper Canyon at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Copper Canyon's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Central, they will head out on the road to square off against McClintock at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. McClintock will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Central surely won't give up without a fight.
