Soccer Game Preview: Bolles vs. Wolfson

The Bolles Bulldogs will face off against the Wolfson Wolfpack at 5:20 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Bolles took a loss when they played away from home last Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed last Saturday. They never let Christ's Church Academy onto the board and left with a 3-0 win.

Olivia Schneider and Mia Lieb scored all three of Bolles' goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Wolfson walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Indians with a sharp 8-0 victory on Thursday. Given the Wolfpack's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 186th, while the Indians are ranked 376th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win made it two in a row for Wolfson and bumps their season record up to 9-10-2. As for Bolles, their victory bumped their record up to 7-8-4.

Bolles beat Wolfson by a goal in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, winning 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bolles since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
