Austin Sweeney posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Thursday. He struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He is becoming a predictor of Grace Academy's success: when he allows at most one earned run the team is 2-1 (and 1-2 when he doesn't).
