Baseball Recap: Perry County Central Takes a Loss

Perry County Central lost against Paintsville back in March of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Perry County Central Commodores fell 6-2 to the Paintsville Tigers.

Perry County Central saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Devin Gayhart, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Perry County Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Perry County Central will venture away from home to square off against Magoffin County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Paintsville, they are taking a road trip to take on West Carter at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
