Volleyball Game Preview: Catalina Foothills Falcons vs. Canyon del Oro Dorados

The Catalina Foothills Falcons will head out to take on the Canyon del Oro Dorados at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

On Monday, Catalina Foothills got the win against Vista Grande by a conclusive 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now won eight in a row.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-12, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Canyon del Oro made easy work of Casa Grande on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 win.

Canyon del Oro walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-18, 25-18.

The win got Catalina Foothills back to even at 12-12. As for Canyon del Oro, their victory bumped their record up to 16-14.

Catalina Foothills came up short against Canyon del Oro in their previous matchup two weeks ago, falling 3-1. Can the Falcons avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
