Soccer Game Preview: Southwestern vs. Greenville

The Southwestern Piasa Birds will square off against the Greenville Comets at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Southwestern will be strutting in after a victory while Greenville will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with six losses in a row, Southwestern turned things around against Metro-East Lutheran on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 5-1 margin over the Knights.

Meanwhile, after soaring to eight goals the game before, Greenville was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They fell just short of Carlinville by a score of 2-1.

Greenville's goal came courtesy of Adyson Bearley, who's now up to 16 this season.

Greenville's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Southwestern, their win bumped their record up to 4-12-1.
