Soccer Recap: Yale Comes Up Short

Yale and Almont squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Yale had to settle for second. They came up short against the Raiders, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, Yale can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 315th, while Almont are ranked 112th).

Yale's loss dropped their record down to 4-11-2. As for Almont, their win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-4-1.

Yale does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Almont, they will square off against Armada at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
