They had to suffer through a rough 74-42 loss at the hands of the Patriots. The last quarter was a mere formality, since the game's final score was reached by the end of the third quarter.

Kanyon Taylor was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 28 points and 16 rebounds for Valley. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Taylor has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Carson Tucker, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and three steals.

Fort Elliott has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season. As for Valley, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 22-12.

Fort Elliott does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Valley is on the road again on Thursday and plays Texline at 7:00 p.m. on February 22nd. Texline has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 780 points over their last nine games.
