Montgomery Academy waltzed into their game on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the LAMP Golden Tigers by a score of 2-0. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Golden Tigers, too.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Montgomery Academy was: they took both sets by at least 17 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-8.

Montgomery Academy was led to victory by Kaci Armistead and Elizabeth Campbell. Armistead had eight digs and three aces, while Campbell had three digs.

They weren't the only good server: Montgomery Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in three consecutive matchups.

Montgomery Academy's record is now 9-1. As for LAMP, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.
