Football Recap: Sunnyside Grizzlies vs. Skyline Spartans
Sunnyside had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost to the Skyline Spartans on the road by a 24-8 margin.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Skyline to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mason Pirello, who threw for 147 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 46 yards. Sunnyside will look to defend their home field on Friday against Coeur d'Alene at 7:00 p.m. As for Skyline, they are headed away from home for the first time to square off against Tahoma at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
