Laguna Acoma won the last time they faced Dulce and things went their way on Tuesday too. Laguna Acoma blew past Dulce 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for Laguna Acoma.

While Laguna Acoma won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-22, 25-15.

Kalie Poncho paced Laguna Acoma's offense, picking up seven kills. Poncho got some help from Leila Lorenzo and her 17 assists. Lorenzo also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Tavani Scott, each putting up four.

The win got Laguna Acoma back to even at 9-9. As for Dulce, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Laguna Acoma will square off against rival Rehoboth Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Dulce is set to face off against their familiar foe Hozho Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
