Soccer Recap: Portersville Christian Takes a Loss

Portersville Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Calvary Christian Academy. That's two games in a row now that Portersville Christian has lost by just one goal.

Portersville Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Calvary Christian Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-3-1 record this season.

Portersville Christian will be taking part in a tournament against New Hope Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Portersville Christian's defense better be ready for this one: New Hope Christian Academy have averaged an impressive 3.6 goals per game this season. As for Calvary Christian Academy, they will take on Lighthouse Baptist Academy in a tournament on Friday.
